Tariff exposure
What it will do
Map every component to an HS classification and its current tariff treatment, then show which lines, which suppliers and which categories carry exposure under a given tariff scenario — and what a change would cost you annually.
Why it does not exist yet
It needs an HS classification on every line and a maintained tariff dataset behind it. We have neither yet, and a duty figure produced without them is a number you could not take to a customs broker. We would rather tell you that than show you one.
What we can do today, by hand
We will do it by hand for one product. You send a sanitized BOM, we do the classification and tariff work ourselves, and you get the analysis back with the reasoning shown. There is no charge and no obligation — we are learning what this needs to become.
Also in private beta
- Canadian content and CUSMA — Identify documentation gaps and the components that would need deeper qualification.
- Canadian supplier alternatives — Discover foreign components that may have Canadian manufacturing or sourcing alternatives.
- Resolving unverified origins — Track evidence and supplier attestations for the components nobody can currently vouch for.
